La Lune Fort Kochi truly is a hidden gem nestled just a stone's throw from the seafront. I spent three delightful nights there, surrounded by the enchanting atmosphere of Fort Kochi, which felt almost like stepping back in time. Joseph, the owner, was the epitome of hospitality-his warmth and knowledge transformed my stay into something truly special. The eco-friendly property was tastefully decorated, with lush plants and local artwork creating a serene escape. I relished the delightful rooftop breakfast, complemented by homemade juice and fresh eggs laid by their own chickens-it doesn't get more local than that! The communal kitchen and common areas were well-equipped, making it easy to unwind with a cuppa after a day of exploring. As a travel writer with a proclivity for the unique, I appreciated La Lune's prime location near attractions like the Chinese Fishing Nets and Santa Cruz Cathedral. With a well-appointed room featuring air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, I found it the perfect base to explore and soak in the vibrant local culture.
